You should have paid more attention to which one youu have, since you have a 97 you have a black top cam sensor. Changing parts doesn't work all the time if you don't know what the issue is, check resistance and report back.

Coils fire 2-3 and 1-4.Come on people this is a no brainer, check coil for resistance, the wires, then transistor, and last but not least CAS.CAM sensor tells the ecu when to fire injectors and spark, research man, you are sitting on an encyclopaedia of info on this site.
