Well, I can't remember what timing belt is on mine, got it with the PartsDinosaur kit, but I want to say it is an S A Gear timing belt. This goes for the balance shaft belt too. I know the water pump is from ITM and tensioners are from PCI. I also have Gates accessory belts (PS, ALT, A/C). I...

I know I have to have it here in Louisiana. Depends on where you live and how hot it is. When mine went out, before I fixed it, I had cut the A/C belt and noticed some more power. It wasn't worth it though. In the rain the windows would fog up really bad and it was an accident waiting to happen...

I'm auto, not sure if this matters, but I removed the front mount to put it in. It's only 2 bolts so its not hard. Hope this helps.:dsm:

Check my profile. I have partsdinosaur's kit, installed by Mitsu themselves, and 8,000+ miles later, still running great and I periodically always check the timing belt and the accessary belts. No overheating as well with ITM's water pump, included in the PD kit. Other's have had great results...
