There has to be a huge reason for all this bs. My turbo drain is leaking by the oil pan so I was going to remove the new oil and put a new gasket on the drain. The muthrfucn drain bolt on the oil pan is fucn welded on this pos.I have to do a...

On idle the vehicle doesn't leak. When throttle is applied it leaks at the pan. I purchased a new pan and just finished installing with rtv grey. I put the bead on the inside of the holes. If this doesn't seal, I think I have enough energy for...

Have you reached out or emailed him? Maybe he will see the email before here as sometimes people can take a while to come back here when they get busy. I sell to people and sometimes its days or even weeks before they come back on to see my...

Like the title says: I bought a turbo from a 10+yr member on here (with zero classifieds feedback) two weeks ago and haven’t heard from him since. Says his last login was 4/11.I purchased with PayPal goods and services. Never had to file a...

Make 250whp reliably first, then step up to a 16G and do low-mid 300’s reliably first. Tuning yourself the whole way. By the time you’re done with that it’ll have taught you the nature of how to keep a DSM running and reliable, and you’ll know...

Not much of an update. Worked on getting the fender and plastics all setup perfectly. With 32 yr old plastic that has been warped over time, it wasn't fun. Having new clips in all the proper places made it difficult to line everything up the...

Continuing on...Replaced the fender sealant. Both sides. Before I got the sideskirt back on I wanted to make sure the inside was protected so it doesn't rust out again. someone had mentioned Eastwood's internal frame coating before so I...

Installed straight up. Shifted the power to the right.I also tuned a 2g that made the same switch from Kelford 272s to S3s. 6262 car at 35 psi. At the same boost level, the car went from trapping 138 mph to 145 mph in the quarter. Our only...

I’m going to update this post for anyone in the future that sees this. I moved to the S3s. At the same boost, I made 30 more horsepower at the same boost level. I lost 100 rpm in spool up. T3 is definitely a restriction at this point, but it’s...

Just placed what is likely my final :( order. I went through every page for stuff that I may need now or in the (near) future.I put my first order in, I think 2009 or 2010, just after I got my first DSM and have been back almost every year...

I just took an 1,800-mile road trip and was getting 29 MPG at 75-80 MPH, so over 300 miles per tank. 1G AWD with 14b, 850cc injectors, 91 octane, Evo VIII wheels. I was very happy with that.

Finished up the patch and lower door sill area this weekend. While I was prepping the new patch panel for paint. I noticed a bubbling of some rust on the door sill. I sanded and smoothed it to also prepare for paint.I did a lot of sanding...

Spring is here (ish), which let me move the Evo out from its out-of-town, climate-controlled storage, and into the shop on the other side of the building. The first priority for today was to get the transmission into the car, so that the car can...

Here's the update I promised a long time ago with side by side photos comparing the two.Seems like the general consensus is same same but different, the few differences I could spot are 1. Eagles have a bigger oiling hole for the wrist pin 2...

Finally got the new patch panel all situated but had a bit of a detour while I was doing it. I got the new patch all welded in. Had to stitch weld it since the metal is so thin here (about 18 gauge). I'm no welder, but I got it done and it's...
