I thought about switching over to sd but figured since i already have the gm maf set up and everything the easiest route to go would be to ditch the rusty/corroded translator and go with the ecmlink cable. Not to mention i dont really wanna have to fight with density correction when the weather...
Thanks for the replies guy. I got a new gm maf installed and swapped the location with the bov. Definately made a huge difference in how the car runs. Now i just need to ditch the maf translator (has rust and corrosion on the board :( ) and switch over to the ecmlink cable. Than everything...

Yes the cover is different between the 4g63t and the 420a....as far as what cars to look at check 1g/2g talon/eclipse and I believe galant vr4s will work also....but if u find that in the junkyard id jist say buy the whole car lol
If you open ur driver side door there will be a sticker showing what the tire pressure should be......for my talon its 32 front and 29 rear......thats the tire pressure u should follow regardless of what tires you are using
I dont have a dash mat but I think I could make somekind of metal ring to cover any gaps between the speaker and dash.....good idea with the cardboard to help secure it down in.
Id say to pick up a haynes manual for the car at a local auto zone or advance auto and it should have the wiring diagram for your car. If that doesnt help id suggeat trying a toyota forum...
