  1. Project AWD Spyder update

Update and its for sale in the classifides as well.I have a 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GST Convertible that I have been working on for about 3 years. I have come along way since I bought it from my buddy as alll stock with a blown motor. One of the main things that I did to it was...
  2. Bad Thermostat?? Sucky heat...

Sounds like its low on coolant but it looks like you fixed it so good to hear.
  3. Why does my compression seem low?

Who built the motor and were the right steps taken for grinding the rings? Or maybe a tooth off on the cams?
  4. Possible engine swap?

I would say its alot more work then it would be worth.
  5. 1g, at idle, try to rev, bogs down then revs up.

Make sure there is NO boost leaks at all or maybe a bad fuel filter.
  6. leaking oil???

Oil return line and is it for sure cracked or is it a bad gasket? Just buy a new pipe from a mitsu dealer as well as 2 new gaskets and you will be set!
  7. Engine Bay [Merged 7-7] cleanup clean up unclutter tidy neat

To actually clean off like road grime i use simple green and spray it all over, let it sit, and wash it off. Works great on the grime.
  8. Boost leak test, help

    No cracks in the turbo?
  9. Eclipse/Talon 6g72tt AWD swap w/pics

It is cool to see someone doing something different.
  10. Help needed fast...

    I say start from scratch.
  11. 1 no start 2 no start 3 finally starts

Is your FPR bad. Thats what I am guessing. the fuel drains out of the lines back into the tank possibly.
  12. 89 octane

    Interesting.:hmm:
  13. timing belt for 4g64 w/63 head?

Wow seems kind of risky. I would just buy the correct belt. You dont need any special material belt. Guys running 1000hp are still using the stock belts.
  14. 89 octane

Plus if you own a DSM you should have a second bank account for fixing it anyways.
