Reviving this thread. Havent touched the car until now. Even with solid mounts its STILL rocking. I thought i was going nuts just by looking at it rock WITH SOLID MOUNTS! I even purchased a new driver side mount from the dealership and it rocks with that one as well...im lost here. What else...
I say we all roll in at FNL on june 1st. Not many DSM's showed up last year to the JDMC FNL meets. Cant wait for it though. Fnl and another level car show, strictly modified block party, boostin performance open house, so many things going on.
Well that's 2 mounts now that I've gone through. Any guesses as to why they keep blowing? And is there a trick to lining up the center sleeve on the prothane mount when putting it in? It doesn't line up with the hole for the bolt that goes through.

Of course, how else would i find out that it didnt fit? lol. You can see in the pics i was shoving the mount pretty good in there since some paint came off the bracket and theres scratches on it now.
I dont think so. I went to another Mitsubishi dealership and asked them to pull out said mount using the part number and they had the exact same one i just bought from another dealership. The parts guy told me all automatic 2g 95-99 DSM's use the same mount. I wonder if for the 97-99 years if...
Were there different A/T mounts for the 2g awd DSM? I purchased a brand new one from the dealership using my VIN to find the right mount and this is what i got. Its got the correct part number of MB911274 but its a little different..Were there different 2g awd A/T mounts? The new one i bought...
