I was wondering about the quality of those clutches. Could you give me your opinion on the one that you bought? What does the pedal feel like, what all came in the kit, does it engage quickly and hold, and overall craftsmanship of it, etc.?Yes, there is a 500mi break in for it, it should be...
Same thing happened to me as well. I ended up drilling and tapping to the next size up. Even tho I had to drill the cap out a bit I felt pretty confident that it would be as strong as it was supposed to be. But I agree with studding the caps it would be much better.
I know this post is old, but instead of making a totally new one I figured I'd ask here. I have 203k miles on my 97n/t and I'm seeingwarmed up:

85-94psi @ WOTIs this normal or good to have about 10 more...
im just hoping that you don't have bent valves from the timing being off. im not sure if you had low compression before this problem but that could be a sign. the pistons could have nicked it just enough to make them not seat, but when i bent valves i went all out and had 0 across the board...
i know the post is old, but just to answer the question... yes broken motor mounts would make it a bit more difficult to shift resulting in possible grinding of the syncros in your tranny caused by the tranny/engine moving while you are trying to shift. hope this helps someone if they happen to...
just a thought, but my car did the whole no start and loss of power until to you disconnect and reconnect the battery when it was low, had bad connections, and a shorted cell in the battery. maybe your battery could actually have an open cell/cells now since it shorted to ground through the...

^^yes this does work as well, i have done it without problems, but if you're wanting to go ahead and replace them id take them out just to get them completely out of the way. just my .02, hope the helps
its sounds like you have a leak somwhere. i dont know if this could help you, but it could get worse when it gets warmer because of thermal expansion of materials. that's exactly what happened with my IM gasket when it was leaking. i also went a similar path by replacing the IAC, cleaning the...
you can disconnect the upper ball joint and pivot the knuckle forward to get the axle out of the hub. but you still need the damper fork off, so you may have to cut both sides of the bolt off, spread the fork open a bit to get it off and the axle should come right out.as far as the control...
the highest i could find on 2gnt is 98. it should be the same, or else id think they'd have a separate pinout diagram for the 99 on 2gnt's site. just double check the pins and wire colors and you should be good.2GNT.com - 1998_ECU
