You definitely can’t have the evo front calipers if you have a 17x9 +35. I tried. Maybe with spacers but then you’d want some fender flares to hide the bulge. I plan on doing the outlander upgrade since I don’t want to spend money attempting another 4-piston caliper again.
I did some light reading of the manual and I understand the headlight circuit more than I care to know now. The passing control relay is a safety relay to protect your pop-up motor in case the pop-up motor fails to cut the circuit to the pop-up relay. The circuit within the pop-up headlight...
I know this is an old post, but I want to verify the above poster’s solution. I’m not an electrical engineer, but from what I understand, the passing control relay is to allow 12V go to the pop-up motor for approx. 5 seconds. The purpose I assume is to not have a live 12V all the time going to...
I’ve gone to plenty in big cities and they’ve been pretty good. Weekend car meets were also organized through the cars and coffee Facebook pages. Looks like there’s a cars and coffee every weekend of the month besides the first weekend in Cabot, LR, and Maumelle. I’ll swing by this Saturday to...
I'm one of the hundreds of DSMs Steve (biglady112) tuned many years ago that netted me a 12.05 in my full-weight 16g car when I was in Colorado. I slightly modified the tune when I moved back to sea level accounting for the significant change in density altitude to run my 11.3. Car still runs...
I don't have any spacers on. I installed the front passenger caliper, then tried to put the wheel on and the spokes hit the caliper. From what I remember (it's been 2 years), I would have needed a big spacer for it to clear, so I gave up on it, sold them, and figured I'd try the CTS or VR-4...
I’d definitely try the plugs and wires first. I once had a no-start issue and thought my problem was something complicated and towed the car home, only to find out my spark plug wires were bad.If you have access to a timing light, you can connect it just to test if spark is getting to the...
No, they removed it to put their Innovate wide and in for the dyno run. Instead of clamping it to the exhaust pipe. And thanks! Maybe down the road I'll upgrade turbos but til then I have an interior to redo.I wish I knew. It's a full interior car though. I'll have it weighed soon. And...
Oh I'm not complaining at all about where it stands. My goal was 350-375hp so I'm done for now with performance upgrades. I just want to enjoy it on the track.I just bumped up a degree of timing to see what it'd do, but afterwards I put it back down. I didn't change anything else. I plan on...
Thanks! My launch is set to 5250. I shift around 7k because I want to stay in the range where the powerband is. I can tell how much slower the car is up top.
