Today no recently yes. I got in the car to go home and it ran fine. Although I did notice while I ha my laptop hooked up that no matter how much I changed my deadtimes that my combinedft wouldn't go below 2.5.
So last night I went out for a drive to collect data for my tune. I was on my way back home the car was running great, then all of a sudden it started misfiring and running very rich. Got it home parked it. Today I went out determined to figure this out, and to my suprise the car wasent...
Well fixed that wire and it did the trick. No more stalling at all totally back to normal. I was unaware that it would have that much effect on the drivability but it did. Thanks for all the replies and suggestions!!
I crawled under my dash this morning while warming my car up for work and took a look at the harness where it plugged into the ecu. The vss input wire had a break in it so I'm sure that's why I cannot log speed. I'm gonna fix it after work and see if that solves my stalling problem as well...
I have never had an issue with this until the past few days. Ive noticed all of a sudden that my vehicle speed is not registering in ecmlink when I log. I dont know if it is relevant but the same day my car starting stalling everytime I come to a stop...any thoughts?
Holy crap what the hell happened to my map lol. This is how it was when I got the car I had never seen a stock one before. I'm for sure going to try this out tomorrow. Thanks for the help. You guys are my heros. Loaded the new stock VE map on there and it fired right up. Made a few adjustments...
I dont know if this helps at all, but these are the current settings. Like I said with the 12v wire connected it will start and run like this. But with the 5v volt connected it will not do more than sputter while I crank it.
Ok will post a log as soon as I'm home. Yes I selected gm 3 bar in the ecu. And yeah it's weird voltage readings are right on now and map shows 0.2 with the key on and engine off but I cant even get the thing to start with the 5 volt wire running to it only the 12 volt. Unless I adjust the...
So ever since I purchased my 90 tsi I have been trying to figure out basically the same issue on my car. The car would lean out half way threw boost basically anything over 12 psi. So I started doing some digging and some logging and found out the my map readings were waaaay off. So long story...
I have been trying to figure out an issue for months where my car is totally leaning out half way threw boost. Tonight I did a log and after reviewing it saw that when i was at just 12 psi of boost the reading from my MAP sensor was 31.5psi. At that point my boost kept climing and my MAP sensor...
