Complete piece, theres is a few screws (2 or 3) on the top or the old one and it pulls out then you install and wire your gauges and screw the new one in.
I have there oil pressure, boost and wideband all in the blue digital series, and I have nothing but good things to say about them. Ive had them for about a year and a half and have had no troubles with them. I would reccomend them to anyone who is interested in buying them.

Is the motor in the car? Ive always found a razor blade then use head gasket cleaner or acetone with a brillow pad works good. Dont use sand paper or steel wool, seeing as its a greater chance of gettin shavings in the block.
Some cars are pulse width modulated at the pump to control fuel pressure, but others actually have the regulator right after the pump in the fuel tank.
318i came with a 4 banger. The 325i came with a inline 6, and the IX series was actually AWD, kinda hard to find though. The M series was as stated. They also made a diesel version I believe.
