I think I might have an AWD flywheel. But what is the difference that it won't work? And thank you for the web page but I had already read that and I couldn't find it.

The only thin I can think of is the starter from my 98 eclipse doesn't work with this motor. But the tranny is still the same? Only difference is the 6bolt flywheel.I'm not 100% sure.

Ok. I have a 98 gst and I just completed a full 6bolt 2.4 with 1g head swap. The motor came out of a running car so I know it is good. I hooked up everything and when I try to start the car, i hear my fuel pump whine and my starter just spin. It's like the starter isn't contacting the flywheel...
