I did all of the testing that I knew how to do on my own (spark plugs). Obviously I dont know too much about trouble shooting problems on cars which is why I said I just took it to my mechanic. And rather than be without my car for too long bsing with it on my own it is easier for me to have it...
Nope no check engine light and why would I ignore it? If you knew me you would know that I am a pretty paranoid and picky person when it comes to my car. It happened just as I said it did. Everything was fine...I changed my valve cover, tried to start the car and nothing. Ya i'd like to know...
The crank angle sensor! Wasnt operating correctly so wasnt getting the pulse to the injectors or to the coils. Now for the $$$ out of my pocket for the part....o well I guess thats what cars are for huh...
Thanks for the compliments guys. All I did was come up with the idea so I cant take full credit for the work. He charged $150 and a $50 refund when u send the old valve cover back.
Why even stress too much over it? if you paid a mechanic to do the work leave it up to him to fix the problem. after all that is what you paid him to do right? alot of times i will be present when my mechanic works on my car jus so i can learn things and get a feel for what to do on my own. let...
Well...I couldnt figure it out and I cant afford the down time without a car so I had to have it towed to my mechanic. I will let you guys know what it turned out to be...thanks for trying to help.
