I hope someone can please help me out:91 Non-turbo GS, 2.0L 4G63 5-speed manual
Had a high idle issue at one point and my mechanic was able to bring it down to normal range. Then the ECU burnt out a few months later. Yeah, I have no idea how the hell that happened. So what I did to...
Man, that looks seriously clean! :thumb:I'm not familiar with plastidip, and of course, I won't be doing the entire body. Was it easy to use on the center piece?
Hey everyone,It's been a long time since I posted anything on these forums. I've recently started doing stuff to my car again and so that's what brought me here with this:I'm considering painting the center part of the tail lights to match the color of the car. I think it would look...
Yeah, I second that motion. I too have tried to take the "cheap bastard" route and go with bulbs. Yeah, they all looked "cool blue" for a while, but night-time visibility sucked a$$ through a straw. eBay HID kits are more affordable now than ever. Hook yourself up with a set and you'll be glad...
This will basically explain why it's just better to go with a DSM already turbocharged from the factory, rather than convert a non-turbo DSM.Tech Guide: 1G 4G63 N/T Upgrades - DSMtuners
@Checkers:A word of caution: the Fidanza short shifters require a wee bit of "modification" in order to properly install, meaning some metal cutting may be involved. This may or may not be beyond the skill level of a "n00b" depending on what you're comfortable doing. If you want to play...
Hey man, thanks for sharing that info! I actually had the same question as the original poster. I was at a junkyard and saw a 1g like mine that had brackets for 6x9's so I really want to swap my 6.5's for those. I'll be going to a yard tomorrow AM, so I hope I find a set!
The 1G gauge cluster light bulb types are 158 and 74.http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProducts/AutomotiveLighting/LampReplacementGuide/AutoLRG-Results.htmThese search results are for a 1991 Eclipse. YMMV. Happy hunting!
Does anyone know the bulb type (ie H3, 9006, 9004) for the 1Ga fog lights? I'd like to see if I can replace mine.
I read that the bright gold/yellow type bulbs offer the best visibility for fog lights, so before anyone calls "rice" on me, I'm trying to be practical, not riced-out, heheh.
Yeah, I think I probably got a little too trigger-happy with the spray paint.
I really slathered it on thick because I was worried about it "cooking" and flaking off. It hasn't, so far, but it's only been about a day or so.Now that you mention it, it does look like a garbage bag is...
So I finally got off my a$$ and painted my heat-shield. Looks good so far! I used a semi-gloss BBQ paint. Whaddaya think? I like it and I think it dresses up the engine bay pretty well. :D
