red1993gsallmt I'm assuming you're using a BEP Mitsubishi .55 A/R flanged exhaust base off of your picture but please be aware several people have had problem with the BEP bolt-on housing.Although you've improved the turbo oil flow some argue that .55 A/R is too small and creates a lot of back...
I don't believe a 91 is 23 spline, only some 90 or at least the early 90s are 23 spline. There maybe alignment pin missing if not that's the way a welded center differential work along lack of traction making it into a 4x4, all four wheels spinning at the same time, instead of a AWD, shorter...
I commend you on that exhaust. It looks very clean but if you're looking for a 4" v-band side mount exhaust I have one available. I cannot running it anymore after moving back to California.
Classic example of that! If you haven't ran anything but FIC than how is your comparison based?my98gsx, who really is the manufacturer of the FIC injectors and does FIC actual flow better than Denso because Denso ALWAYS flows better than what they are rated for.But if the fact that FIC is...
It's all about tuning, don't ask the question which is 'better'. That's just a run-around on what people say and think. Obviously if you have one instead of the other you would this it's better...Which is better... HKS cams or Kelford cams, JM Fab SMIM or Magnus SMIMI didn't bother to do...
Everything is streetable in Indiana but everything changes when I came back to California... so I parting my car out but this is easily a 9s and capable of 8s. I don't how it is in Oklahoma.
Amen to that!I've gotten offers from $300 to $400 on my twin-scroll T4 Holset HX-52 turbo kit by newbs thinking that it is possible to bolt this turbo kit and make 900 AWHP and a stock engine and a stock transmission... probably an AUTOMATIC!!!BTW - you'd probably be better...
Seeing the same boost-to-rpm range as bwhite.Twin-scroll setup works wonders for a big turbo low boost-to-rpm range and mad power! Albeit I was having problems getting over 27 psi because the head was lifting and the coolant was surging out from the overflow can.
I was in the HX-52 business but since I move back to California I drop it. I had a couple complications with the head lifting, etc...However I have a thermal coated JH Racing 100% twin-scroll manifold and dump tubes along with the HX-52 if you are interested and a heat wrapped 4" side exhaust...
Why would anybody their tubular manifold? They ONLY hone cast iron manifold. They're high flowing manifold and honing tubular manifold is USELESS because it doesn't match the cylinder ports.
San Diego cops or California Highway Patrol, CHP, must be uneducated if you can get out of the 'under hood check'. Check out CVC 2806. They could make up any 'reasonable cause(s)'! And that code not only gives the cop a under the hood check but also gives the right for ref's to inspect your car...
Like I said before, California cops are prejudice. American cars can get away with anything albeit you don't drive stupid. I've never gotten pull over with my Jeep v8 5.9L race a non-full exhaust straight pipe race muffler, no cat, race intake manifold, cam, headers and throttle body. It sounds...
You can get away from anything if you have the cash and know the ins & outs of California and find the smog tech that will pass anybody. It's just about the cash that you have in your pocket. That the way economics works especially in California who's over $1 billion in debt. I've gotten away...
