Keep it simple I think. Stock block- block, pistons rods. no arp fasteners on the rods. Arp Head studs fine because that’s technically completing the long block. Rings, bearing and clearances should be up to the builder. Keep the pistons NPR. BSE is fine as well. My 2cents

If u do the work yourself u save about $370.. OEM seals are like 30$ and if u are mechanically inclined you can do the job in 3hrs give or take. Personally I would do it myself.. If you do infact do the cam seals yourself then I would make sure u understand how to do the timing belt correctly...

Ok make sure the cam gear teeth are flush with the head. I use a piece of cardboard with the straight edge of the cardboard or thick paper to make sure that the cam marks are indeed flush and straight across from eachother. Stick the straight surface behind the cams to check flush with head then...

Do you have adjustable cam gears? If so check to make sure that the bolts are tight ive seen them come loose and make it sound just like a lifter tic or valve tapping.. then I would check that timing is on.. U could have jumped time and be off a tooth or half a tooth. It's happened to me about 5...
