Mine just did that. My Turbine shaft was snapped in half.Sounded like it was spooling, built no boost. So i checked it and it was for sure snapped in half.Jared
I would second that. My friend Got the slightest rod knock on his Honda, Replaced the bearings, two months later.....another rod knock.Take it to a machine shop, see what they say. Don't just assume its alright.Jared
Ya. I went to School for tuning, and I can tune well in my opinion. But I am nowhere close to some tuners out there. Theres a lot to learn. Don't think its just a piece of cake, thats when bad stuff happens.Jared
Well I will start by saying, This is my first ever DSM. I used to hate them so I never wanted one, but I got one for winter and want to start moding it.It does burn/Leak oil. A full stock rebuild is at hand in a couple weeksIts a 90 Talon TSI AWD.Current "Mods"
2G MAF
3" Downpipe...
Have you ever tuned? Or ran a car on the dyno? Yes you will want to do full throttle pulls, but 3rd gear is where its at. Start in first, shift normally, when your in 3rd get ready and put your foot down, But your also going to want to tune your cruising, idle, etc. If you have never tuned...
I did it because they are so standard. Like I have like a billion of them at work. Just saying. You can go with whatever you want too. But Napa sells them.Jared
I cut mine on my Integra and Civic with a grinder/ cut off wheel. Pretty simple. Just mark where you need to cut it and have at it. Shouldnt take you to long.Jared
