I'm running 12psi stock timing then I take -1 degree from 13-18psi.

That's not normal. Here is an actual graph of mine on 16 psi before the tuning began. Power drop off is still the same I might add

This dyno graph is for an example. My 420a turbo hits peak boost, then drops off power much like this graph. What could be causing this issue, and does anyone else with a stock head, have any dyno graphs to post for comparison. Boost peaks at 4750rpm, then falls off a good 30-40hp. On 18psi car...

I never expected to setup a my car like that, I just couldn't figure out how that setup worked. I'm using the AEM 1913, with FIC 775cc Injectors, 16psi and will up the boost when I get it tuned when warm weather comes around.

Does it do it consistently or just when you start it up in the morning? What were the compression numbers? They should be pretty high. I think a stock 420a should see between 200-220psi.

Set the regulator to 20lbs and this thing is making the noise when I'm not evening building positive pressure. I'm going to remove the turbo tomorrow and check to see if the flywheel is hitting the dust shield. That's about all I know to do unless it's something internal

It's not a leak as far as the boost leak test went. It's something sounds like a "friction" type noise. Metal rubbing some kind of metal but I'm unsure. I'll unbolt the turbo tomorrow to verify that it isn't it.

That will make that high pitch noise like that?
