It is the dss aluminum driveshaft. I got lucky and snagged a gently used one instead of having to wait the month+ wait from dss on having one made. It is freaking massive too lol.
I'll skip to the conclusion and tell you what they'll tell you: if you want to keep stock gears and have some longevity, dial back your power goal to 450 hp max and never touch that 600 level. If not, it's a PAR or PPG gear set, which will total...
Trust me, they will explain all the billet parts and stuff to you. Everything is usually broken down into "stages" depending on your needs and wallet. Boostin Performance and Magnus are two examples of parts suppliers that work directly with them...
Reach out to TMZ (Tim Zimmer), TRE (Jon Ripple) or Jacks Transmission for all those things and questions. This is a topic that is very well covered but the issue will be parts availability as most things are either already discontinued or are...
Even with the planted seat bracket, anything with sliders on it will have a tight fit with head clearance. Best case scenario is to have the seat position mounted where its best for you and that cuts out the extra clearance added from the sliders.
Big update, the entire drivetrain is finished besides the axles. Still waiting on dss for those. But happy with how everything turned out and honestly was not too bad to install. The JXB carrier bearing housing was pretty straight forward and...
99.9% of aftermarket alarm systems are going to be tucked up under the drivers side area of the dash. You need to drop the drivers side knee panel and then also drop the metal housing attached to the steering column area. Follow any wires...
It sure is. The brain of the system is called the ETAC system and it's attached to the back of the interior fuse box. You can unplug the plug going into it or just remove the whole brain completely.
Very small update, but got the door lock/opening latch cleaning up and stripped it down to just things needed for manual operation. Rods are being powder coated. Took me 5 latches to get two good ones made.Total weight savings lol
Alright, got some time and nice weather in the garage so got the xfer case tacked up, the rear diff tacked up and also the wire harness is finally finished and routed. Actually still trying to decide what to do with the wiper connection but will...
Oh my bad lol. I didn’t watch the video. Are you comfortable with a meter? You need to actually check both sides of the fuses and also while at at check everything else.
Try checking these fuses before anything else. Then go from there. You should solve the reason why you don’t have what you need instead of just bypassing it. May fix other things wrong with the car too lol. Fuses 11 and 12
Man, with a lift that would absolutely be the way to go. Would be so much easier lol. Maybe in the future when I get into a bigger garage that is definitely something I will look into.
I start my car every 45 minutes to make sure the oil pump is always primed. One time I fell asleep for an hour and had to take the timing belt off to prime the oiling system. Never again…Joking aside. Don't overthink it people. Enjoy your car...
