sorry I don't think I ever found out exactly what was causing the issue. I had the car another year after that post. Honestly, looking back on it now, I think it was just an issue with myself and slipping the clutch. I was probably just letting it out a little too much not letting it slip...

hehe, thanx guys...ya, I KNOW my Eclipse would have smoked the S2k...but like you said...its just fun to drive. I love to just get in it and drive, and just go anywhere. It's also nice to not have a glove compartment full of all meteric wrenches and sockets from 8mm-18mm and screwdrivers...
