Not much happening with either one, turbo fried in the GST, and the GS has just been waiting for my spouse to get another job so I have income to play with. I’m bummed because I can’t drive either now, but I’ll get to them.

I believe that is the sensor/switch for the hood. I looked at mine, and since there isn’t an under hood light, it must be for an indicator on the dash I would suspect. I’ve never driven without my hood latched all the way, so I’m not 100% positive about that. But it mounts on the core support...

Are you changing the overall color of the car eventually as well? Pink will not go well with the green IMO, but black will... however, if you are changing the car color, it won’t hurt to start the collection of pink now. And pink and black, honestly look the absolute best together.

On the GST, ordered throttle shaft seals, throttle body gaskets, new coils, (noticed smoke, found cracked coil arcing) new plugs and wires, injector isolators and o-rings replaced, and a new fuel filter. Also got a notification from one of the local yards that they just received an RS. So I’ll...

As expected it was something simple, the charge pipe (?) from the turbo to intercooler has a coupling slip off. Easy fix. Now to install a radio.
