Hello guys, very helpful site. I'm trying to wire up my AEM wideband into ECMLink for data logging. I'm a little confused as to which pin to use.

I know the white wire from the AEM wideband is the 5 volt out.
I'm guessing that I am going to use pin 75?
This is the part that confuses me.

  • Rear O2 (ECU Pin 75)
  • Front O2 (ECU Pin 76) - Only usable when “Open Loop” option is selected, or narrowband O2 simulation is enabled.
  • MDP (ECU Pin 73)
  • Baro (ECU Pin 85) - see IAT/Baro Notes below - Has internal pull down resistor making it unsuitable for certain sensors (see work around).
  • IAT (ECU Pin 72) - see IAT/Baro Notes below
  • Coolant Temp Input (ECU Pin 83) - (V3 only) - This will leave the car in “Open Loop”. “Lock Coolant Temp” must be selected, to work properly. Use only as a last resort and only temporarily unless you fully understand the issues.

I just picked up this car, so I will have to look into this as far as if the factory 02 is there or not.
From what I understand in your post is to install the factory o2, it will already be on pin 76 and enable narrowband.

Then take my white wire to pin 75 for the data logging?

its about 12 inches after the turbo.

If that's your car, that is the equivalent to the factory front O2 location and I doubt you have a narrowband O2 anymore. If so use pin 76 and enable narrowband simulation so the car can use closed loop for idling and cruise.

this is kinda what i was thinking about trying out...this just confirms it...The "Open Loop" comment through me for an open loop LOL...but i seen the narrow band simulation option...guess its the wording that through me off..ill give this a shot and see how it goes.

yes that is my car..LOL i will give this a shot by the weekend ... thanks for all your guys help. Aaron

ok so im getting really frustrated...
changed oil
hooked up wideband white wire to pin 76
hooked up clutch kit wire as described pin 91

now the car will not start..if anyone has any suggest please let me know..i have double checked 1000 times on the wiring and everything is correct..

yes it still cranks over. how do i post that ?

also i loaded the original tune i had when the car was running. i wired back the original wire for the front o2 even know there isnt one, and the car still will not start.
only thing i have hooked up still is the clutch switch to the ecu.
would the a/t d pin going off and on have anything to do with this not starting ?
