I think he uploaded a video but didn't link in this post.
My 2g is making a similar sound for long but I know it's from A/C compressor. Should try to remove the accessory belts one by one to pin-point the location.

The A/C tensioner pulley comes to mind. That's an easy one to remove and inspect.
How old are your timing/BS belt pulleys?
 
I seems like it’s coming from timing area but my a/c doesn’t work.
I see the AC belt moving in your video. Doesn't mean AC is functional, but nonetheless it's still an easy check. Loosen the AC tensioner pulley so the belt moves freely. Start the engine and see if your noise is gone.
 
That scraping noise is the clutch on the pulley end of your AC compressor. If you had enough freon in the system that the AC clutch would engage, you could turn on the AC and the noise would most likely stop.

When the compressor is not on, the clutch rides on a small set of bearings that eventually go bad. You can replace just the clutch, but the bearings in the compressor are not far behind, so you might as well do a new compressor and be done with it.
