Cut the connector off the OEM fan, solder the two power wires together. Do the same for the two ground wires. Then solder those to the slim fan's power and ground wire.

know what, i have an additional question. one of the stock fans has a resistor box on it, i think its the driver's side (AC) fan, does that resistor have to remain with aftermarket fans for any reason ?

Just because its slightly relevant

Controversial opinion: 2g aluminum radiators fit like crap and unless youre constantly road racing; they are not better at cooling the car. Your thermostat is still working the same way it always does.

I mean I guess you could argue they cause your fans to work less when you are driving on the highway, but its harder for the fans to draw the air through a thicker radiator.

Just to be clear. The thermostat sets the coolant temp floor, not the ceiling.
