Got around to swapping the rear and front seats so extensive cleaning and scrubbing was had. Come to find out d-side seat bracket is broke on the seat going in ao back out it comes to get swapped with the old one. Aligned the headlights and fog lights after putting new leds in all of them. Also got 2 new keys made since the OE was about worn out.

Been trying to fix small boost leaks had to replace seals In the TB, figuring out the pcv system and got a check valve for it just need a cheap catch can for now and fixing small boost leak on j pipe. Messing around a little with ecm link and watching videos. Boost leak test in the morning 🤞🏻 And checking fluids in transfer and diff will be checking the 36mm nuts inside the trans later this week for play. Hopefully in the near future getting a base tune and checking shifter linkage for adjustment.

So ended up tightening up the 36 mm nuts on the trans seemed to help some, what really helped was adjusting my shifting cables doesmt seem to grind now but still need to run it a little more to know for sure. Ended up landing some awesome deals on intake snd rad. Been slowly working on the pillar pod just got my innovate mtx today. Now just waiting for less rain to start running wires and stuff for all the gauges so I can get everything Installed LOL.

Finally got all my wiring done and working for my wideband and finished up my pillar pod for the manual oil and boost gauge.
Note I wired them to the wrong pins for the ecu first the directions on ecm link says male pins facing toward you yea not the fromt of the plug the back of the plug LOL Got it all setup on my datalogs as well so were good to go now 😎

Got the sub frame/diff out, got the trailing arms all apart and cut down to ship to nat fab. Next is gas tank and lines to come out so I can clean up the underneath and undercoat it.

Well gas tank is out and spent the last 3 days getting the underneath cleaned up and ready for undercoat (bedliner). Just ordered a few things needed, have to order a few more to have everything I need to complete the rear new assembly.

Any pics of the prep progress? Make sure you get all rust off or treated with ospho or the like before you cover it up with bedliner.

Ill have to take pics tomorrow used wire brush and wire wheel on the whole underside for the big spots of rust. Gotta take some sandpaper to the painted areas and I have some rust inhibitor I will be using as well before I I put some primer in spots before bed liner.

First two pics was after getting the tank out and wire wheeling/wire brush the underneath along with spraying soap and water and using a paint brush to get all the dirt out of the cracks and crevices especially where the zebart is. Last picture was after all that I went through sanding down any areas I could with some 320 I had laying around. I used a surface cleaner after everything in prep for rust treatment, primer and bed liner.

Damn, that is cool. Your car is coming together real nice. I can't wait to get mine back together and running/driving this year, then bodywork next year.

I didn’t want to send it to paint but figured if it was torn apart before the rear was back in id have no choice 🤣. Thanks man little here little there at times when I can its no show car by any means. After having mine stored away forever and putting it back on the road last year was amazing always puts a smile on my fsce to drive it.

Still waiting on main pieces to come back from powder coat, installed 3g bmc, all new lines ran kind of and new prop valve as well. Painted the diff quick and some bolts for different places. Just organizing and making sure what I need ahead of time before it goes to paint after I assemble the rear.
