I
have a set of Prosport EVO series in mine. They are really visible during the day too. Not to mention they change colors if that's your thing.:thumb:

Maybe it's because you have the "premium" EVO series with the extra features I didn't care about (peak, etc.). I went with the other EVO, expecting otherwise they would be generally the same. I certainly wasn't expecting one of their top product lines to be unreadable.

If this is also a difference between the two they should call that shit out right from the get-go because it's ridiculous how dim they get. I'd take a picture but it's currently raining and overcast but I'll grab one next time it's sunny. I might just toss these things in the garbage if there's no resolution and definitely make it known what to expect.

I see what you mean and that would have upset me too for sure.

I figured I wouldn't get much life out of the clutch slave cylinder and I was right. I suspect it has been introducing air into the line over the past couple weeks, could not adjust the master anymore to allow it to return the pedal and not block the valve.. wetness in the boot clinched it. Glad I bought that OEM slave in my last parts order..

I really like that exhaust. I have a Trust exhaust on mine that I bought many many years ago, but the angle is a bit much for my liking. It sits nearly right behind the passenger rear wheel. What model HK$ exhaust is that?

I wanna say its the 2.5” high power or something like that for awd

Finally have my wheels back from powder coating. The shop was able to perfectly match the color of the FMIC. Just have to assemble and finish my fuse box relocation and FP exhuast manifold install.

I drove Lucy2, the Blue Talon to the local store and back just to keep her fuel flowing and not get stale, even though she has a broken OD. It was only a mile and back. Was nice to drive her again but she still needs the trans repaired.

If you have a desire to make your car even more attractive, then you definitely need new wheels from these guys bmwstylerims.com. For each of my BMWs, I bought wheels from these guys and every time I was satisfied with the service and product quality. Are there people here who can confirm my words?
1 post and its an advertisement for a business. hm
time to leave some google reviews...LOL

is there any point in even listing a 14b for sale in canada? im clearing out a lot of my 1g stuff but shipping a grandpa of a snail seems pointless to me

Those rims are cool. I found a set that is similar...MMR Custom...Still debating if I'm going to get them. They sell for $329. each and then I have to get tires too because they only come in 18"...

Did a mock up of some Dai Yoshihara Champion wheels in Photoshop, and I'm in LOVE! Wanting to do something different to mine, and I think I've found what I'll be getting!

I dont have any pics for example, but ive worked collision shops as a painter for many years. You can take a grey scotchbrite to that lense now that its clean, scuff it up and then clean it with clear water. Run to your local paint jobber or napa parts store and ask them for a can of 2k clear. It will stop them from oxidizing again and keep you from buffing them every spring!
(Napa https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/MS_7305 )
I would not wetsand and buff aerosal clear, not enough material)

Most people dont realize it, but if you search for “paint jobber near me” you will find the guys who supply professional materials to body shops.
They will usually sell you as little as a few ounces of paint materials, and they will typically mix paint for you and even help pick a good color match if you are doing some diy work. (If you have a paint gun, i wouldn't bother with aerosol)
Most jobbers these days also use color match cameras, and can get an extremely good color match with little variation.

Sorry that got real long, all i know is paint! Im a newb to turbo motors trolling around trying to learn! Lol have a great day all!

Been their many times especially after a build or modding. In these times we install gauges with a red or amber warning 💡 so my hearts not racing up and down between exit ramps😎 I think the Stewart Warner was the first imo to use this. Kept my eyes more calm and more time to stair at the boost gauge😏

Finished painting the rear wheel wells and removing yet more rust from rear end components (I took out EVERYTHING).

I took the strut out after I took this. The pin/bracket that the subframe connects to also came out, but this is after I derusted it, applied POR-15ed and reinstalled it (the FSM didn't specify a torque value so I averaged some other values and tightened all 3 bolts to around 85 ft-lb).

And here's the first (big) thing to go back in, after thorough cleaning and derusting and appling POR-15:

I work on the street and I've removed so much rust by now that the asphalt has permanent rust stains that no amount of torrential rains can remove.

Add to that the remnants of phosphoric and even muriatic acid treatment I've done on some parts and it's starting to look like a Superfund site.

But I figure a few more days and I should be done. So I said a few weeks ago...
