Info on the power steering plug requested. Also what did you wrap the harness with?
Wire loom link, for 1 wire, get the smallest, 1/8"
shrink tubing
and a small bullet connector

1. Remove the old crusty wire cover
2. Repair the end of your wire by crimp/soldering a new bullet connector on the end, add wire length if necessary.
3. Cut the wire loom to length, melt the edges of the end of the loom to prevent fraying.
4. Push the wire loom over the connector and feed it all the way down the wire.
5. Finish the end with shrink tube that covers both the wire loom and connector
6. Heat the shrink tube with a heat gun to secure the connector and the loom to geather (I personally like adhesive lined shrink tube for this application)

@Justin DuBois your entire build is very impressive, quo-dos to you. Need to powder coat your upper front bumper bracket too. No Diamond Star badge for the front bumper?

I took the front bumper off, to get a good look at the stock hood latch alignment, and it finally became apparent why the hood would not close:

Yeah - there is supposed to be an OPEN void behind the latch. Dumb. This is what you get to deal with when you buy the less expensive carbon fiber hood.

While I’m at it - pull more parts to prep and powder coat.

More info on the interior mirror trim? My uncle is a retired blacksmith so I could easily get some jet black epoxy or etc and I didn’t even think about just having him make me some blanks for that spot.
Blacksmith? Is that term used for a modern day trade? or is it harked back to the days of old - with long swords and plate armor and chain male?

I've got a second set of the black plastic triangle interior trim that covers the mounting hardware and electrical plug for the side view mirrors. These are notoriously fragile, and if you have no experience with them, they usually get broken in the attempt to remove them.

I am planning to use JB Weld - Plastic Bonder (comes in black) to re-enforce the corners that crack easy. I'm going to try a new technique for application. I'll post what happens.

It’s what he called himself. Not sure if it was an official title or not, but he’d custom make any orders he got from wrought iron gates, to swords/knives/armor. I’ve got a set of knives he made me for my birthday still. F**kers are still sharp even though they’re years and years old.
