Hello all,

Can the brake booster be removed and installed without unbolting engine from the motor mounts (some or all) and slid forward so there is enough clearance to get the booster out?

Is an alternative to take off the intake manifold and slide the booster out and over and up where the intake was?

Any tips on removal and installation is much appreciated.

Hello all, I can confirm as Gofer said the brake booster can be removed with the intake manifold removed. A bit of a PITA and have to finagle and almost - but not quite - force it past a power steering and A/C hose. Now, I’d be done if RockAuto had not sent me BOTH The wrong brake booster AND the wrong master cylinder.
