Hello there!

Just recently got my car ready with the auto swap and working on dialing in the launch. I’m going to try out the no prep racing. Looks like a lot of fun and get to race some real fast cars.

It’s in March 4-5 I’ll post updates as the day gets closer

Made 2 runs the good news is that the new automatic works flawlessly and was able to get a new PB in in the 1/8 or 6.3 at 107 mph with 1.6 60ft on no prep dusty road, However…… on the second run the head gasket gave out.

How much boost?
How many RPMs?
How much NOS to leave like you do?
Thanks for the updates, sorry about the HG though. I'm sure you were still having fun and smiling. :thumb:

Boost off the line 11 psi 35 WOT
Rpm launch 3800
Nos 100 shot up to 25 mph

After reviewing my logs I came to conclusion that I’m pulling way too much time in creating heat.

The head has been torged before and welded and that is always going to be a weak point.

Took it apart today

So do you think too much cylinder pressure/heat got the head?
And thanks for the details, I am praying to the DSM gods every day to help me find my lean issue so I can do what you are doing. Just about the same stuff as me.....if the dang car would just let me have fun :thumb:

I was checking the logs going
The auto adds more Load might have to rework the tables.
For the launch taking off 18 degrees too much creating a lot of heat combined with the load of the auto that did the trick ….

Were you pulling timing both for spool and for the NOS I assume? I pull 10 for spool, IDK how much I would pull for that 100 shot but it sounded good and left great!
