Alright guys I need a little help I'm not super new to using link but I am still learning the basics of dialing in a tune and right now the car feels great but i fear that it might either have a little too much timing or not enough fuel for it to be happy i have a 1-2 log right now from new years but it may not be enough to go off of if you give me a day or so i can add a third gear 2000-7500 pull and upload it with my direct access and live access tabs as well

Whoa buddy you got some work to do! No worries I've been learning a ton myself these past 6 months. First things first, reset all of your timing sliders back to 0. Second, your mods show a wideband but you aren't logging it through link. What is the richest that the wideband is going? Your front o2 is showing super lean at the top of your pull.... that's really bad if you can see it on the o2 voltage... what is the gauge reading?

Also, your global fuel trims for 1200s at 43.5psi fuel pressure running e85 should be -44%, NOT -59.4 (lean af!)

Also, when you change your global fuel down to -44, you're going to have to re-upload the factory SD table and start over on your cruise and idle tune. Those files can be found in the link below. Just download the file and then open it in ecmlink and save JUST THE SD TABLE to your ecu. Don't hit "save all to ecu" haha

ok so wideband is not logging due to a prior issue with tapping into the ecu pinout and not having a whole lot of time to chase wires to see what was going on, but i do believe now after i have made some adjustments of my own its around 11.2 which i know is still a little leaner than i want but not terrible i do not go wot on the car as i just putt around in it to and from work 6 mile round trip maybe. All my adjustments on my sliders where made by my tuner to get the car to run right and make power on pump gas have not been able to get him personal time with the car and a dyno since putting it on E85 and i dont wanna bug him with 50 million questions while he is tuning and working on his other customers cars for free help. as for the global fuel i have it dialed up to -55 anything less the car absolutely hates it and will not idle on its own might be the temperature not entirely sure but i doubt it. May be the table i should probably upload that and then do it before i say for sure that the car hates it

I'd start from scratch. 5 counts of knock before you see the CEL, yikes!
That was before when it was on pump gas but i do also have the stock gauge set for knock i usually let out when i see it move but it was the first time out in the car in a minute and said screw it lets see what it feels like in second then let out. but this motor is for lack of better words a trooper because during initial tuning and adjustments the car hit something like 35* of knock and she is still running so i thank my lucky stars for that but the reason for 5* is because at the time phantom knock was getting me at .2*-2* just driving around and hitting the smallest bump

Ecu does pull timing so it’s safe in that sense but it’s not good practice. I’d rather turn it down than have to pull the motor LOL. Knock kills ☠️

11.2 at wot with e85 is a little rich for most ppl, actually.

Post up an idle log (and tell us what the wideband reads at idle) and we'll get your sorted out. You still need to adjust the global and with that probably going to have to lower your deadtime to get it idling good. And really, on v3 we should never use the fuel and timing sliders. Maf sliders, SD table, and direct access tables should be used to add or remove fuel once you get the idle sorted out.

So at idle I can tell you right now the wide wand doesn’t read at all goes all the way lean even if you have it running so rich you can smell the fuel but I’ll get an idle log once the weather clears up and I can not get dumped on by Texas rain

I didnt dowload the file yet but NEVER use sliders and an sd table!
Fix that and lets dive in!
Hey I’m not the one who did it originally that was my tuner and I trust him but I would love to eventually be able to not use the sliders just need to learn what I’m looking at because I’ve read ecmlinks forum and I get confused if I were broken down into dummy terms I’d prolly understand it a little better

I recommend you don't drive the car anymore until you get a better grasp on ecmlink, especially with a 10.6:1 comp built engine. Running it lean like you are makes it a ticking time bomb.

As for the wideband reading lean at idle, I'm sure that it's accurate with the current global settings you're using for the injectors. You need to start the tune from the ground up as stated above. I also recommend finding a tuner that's familiar with ecmlink if you plan on having someone else tune it for you.

Im going to sound like a dick but Im ok with that....

If your tuner used the sliders find a new one. Those are only masking other problems and will mess your real tables up.

If you get your wideband reading in link many of us here can help you.. but we need proper information to work with.

Need a wide band reading. The tune does not look to hot to me. The only time sliders should be used i have found is at the track to make quick changes in between passes. Then when you get a chance port the changes over to DA tables.
