Well at that boost level final power level stills on medium 400s so time is quite right
Congrats and def if kevin put his magic on it , it will do awesome
Not sure on hp numbers. I know stick cars making mid 500s on a hx40 at same boost level but obviously the auto sucks some of that up LOL. Once we turn it up I have very high hopes of it seeing a 9 second pass

Damn, maxin out the spring pressure like a real man.
We don’t play up here in the north LOL. Hoping to add another 10-12lbs and see if it’ll go 9s

Congrats on the pb!!
Thank you 🙏 I knew after the first pass letting out wayyy too early it was gonna be a good day LOL

First round of pics the wife took of the car from Sunday.

Winter upgrades are already coming in!

volk metal craft ate eliminator kit came in. Gonna order new cam bolts and get this all installed so I can finally get a full alignment. Thinking about longer wheel studs or not. Then it’s oil change in the spring and then up to mr jewer to get tuned

Little inside tinkering with this new bottle heater this morning. Supposed to be a high of 49 here in Ohio so idk when I’ll get out there and wire everything up LOL

also need to find time to pull the trailing arms off and get the ate kit welded in

Small parts update while there’s snow still on the ground.

New cam bolts for the trailing arms

Mishimoto radiator cap. Little higher pressure than the one that’s on it now.

Figured while I was gonna have the trailing arms off I’d go ahead and upgrade the wheel studs

Once the weather quits being indecisive I’ll hopefully be able to get this stuff on.

Finally some progress! Started with wheel
Studs then got stuck trying getting the trailing arm off. Cam bolt is froze so going to have to cut it out. Good thing I bought new ones LOL. Going to get this wrapped up in the morning.

These were super easy to swap.

Stud installer, lug nut, and a wrench was all a I needed.

Spend 2.5 hrs fighting this thing. Couldn’t get enough leverage to get the active toe bushing out to make room either.

Time to talk to Paul about a whole new rear subframe! :)

The only downside is the impact on the budget. :D
You are right on that one LOL. I will end up doing it eventually. Probably be one of those things I do after I get the other motor done. I did get the other rear wheel studs put in. Had to go pick up a sawzall so I can get these bolts out since they’re froze

Well took longer than planned but finally got some more done. The cam bolt for the trailing arm was froze in the passenger side arm so had to go pick this little guy up.

Started easing n the way back to the house… this evening after dinner the weather was decent so decided to get to work and cut this bolt off.

Finally! So got the trailing arm out of the way and noticed that the end looked a little rough but the flap of rubber was in the way so cut it off and this is what I found

This thing is pretty beat up where the piece for the ate kit needs to go. I’m seriously questioning if I should attempt to try to fix this or bite the bullet and have the arms chopped and made into a tubular piece.
