My 1998 mitsubishi eclipse gsx doesn't get any power through out the whole car. The previous owner cut the positive cable and I just replaced it but its still not getting power I need help figuring it all out. Its been sitting since 2005 and I just got it afew months ago and im trying to bring it back from the dead.

There should be several thick white wires with terminal ends on them that connect to the positive battery cable, from there they go into the fuse box, these wires feed the power to the fuse box.

Are they supposed to be grounded to the car or are they supposed to connect to something else
