Here is my question. I've certainly had engine's out etc but if you disassemble a car this far how do you ever get every single fastener back in place without original assembly techniques? I suppose you could trial fit it but I think it would take too long unless you know exactly where every where goes etc. Either be dumb meticulous with disassembly documentation or have access to the assembly methods when the cars were built. Which sequence etc.
How do they do it?

I say Dumb Meticulous!! LOL You have to be when you're getting in this deep. Bag and tag for sure. BUT when you send off every single nut, bolt, bracket and hardware off for plating/powder coat...I have no idea especially when you have multiple people during disassembly. It wasn't too bad when I took EVERYTHING out of my bay to paint it. To strip the car to its bare shell, that's a whole other level.

down to the shell thats some work there, im not there but im having fun.

For me, it was fun and gratifying when I started putting everything back together after all the blood, sweat and tears. It was a lot of work but I’m glad I did it

Not a big fan of how throtl mods some of their cars so this one is for all you F&F fans. Nice starting point though. I have a feeling they will rice it out.

Hace you been keeping up with this? I really like where they are going with this.
Think I’ve watched all of them. Tbh I don’t like what it’s going to look like but I can see how others will. It’s all personal preference which is fine and that’s the type of builds they do. But I hate the fact they’re cutting up a clean gsx. It kinda hurts LOL

It definitely hurts watching them cut it up but at least they are going things the right way and not some janky hack job. Me personally I always prefer a tasteful clean oem type took, but for some reason I kinda like this build.
Yeah me too and they’re real thorough and do stuff the right way. Their MR2 was my favorite except the engine swap LOL. Maybe the dsm will grow on me once it’s done

I love how he was super thorough with putting the engine together. It has already started going on me but then again I always get a little excited when I see a dsm on something somewhat mainstream. I wish Devin Niemela would build a dsm, although I love his evo builds I'm ready for a dsm.

Same here. Devin does build some cool evos and I wish I can powder & ceramic coat stuff at home too. Don’t think he’s going to build a dsm anytime soon but who knows. I’m not a big fan of his frs. Stance scene is so dumb that I can’t wrap my head around.
