I was going down memory lane and found a picture of my old 97 RS eclipse from back in the day so I made a vehicle profile on it on the account it was burgundy with a MT. I got rid of it and really regret it because it was a very solid car and actually could have kept it. So what was your first diamond ? If it's gone now do you miss it? I look forward to seeing what you guys share and pictures a major plus!

Wow man she looked clean.

My first one is my only one. But I figured I'd share some pics of what it used to look like and what it looked like as I worked on it...

My first one is my only and current one, a '92 Talon TSi AWD stick. It was out of commission for over 5 years with a worn clutch and seized brakes and sitting in an elderly neighbor's driveway. She recently passed away so I've been restoring it in anticipation of the house being put up for sale and the driveway having to be cleared. Almost done.

Well, sort of. It still needs a bunch of work, new timing & drive belts, new rear struts, bushings & ball joints, new flywheel, some trans work, a tune up, some more cleaning, derusting & painting, little things needing fixing here and there, some body work. But it's finally able to be driven under its own power, and all I need now to get it street legal is 4 new tires I just ordered.

I need to find pics but mine was a 1995 rs. Blue with white graphics and white motegi mr7s. I put on an intake, headers, muffler and an msd coil and I thought I was bad ass... until I woke up and bought my 1998 gsx.
I had motegi rims on mine too they were gun metal. Hope you can find your pics I'd like to see them.

99 rs, the 99 gs. Both ran strong for what they were. Now have a 98 gsx

My first was a '99 GS that I purchased in 2009. I bought it as a gas saver for my commute to college. It got good mileage, but wasn't that reliable. I guess it was a bad omen when the timing belt jumped on the drive home from the dealership (no bent valves, just off a tooth or 2 so that it quit running - failed tensioner pulley). I was always chasing electrical gremlins, and that was the car that made me swear off sunrooves for life.

I took these pictures the day I sold it. It was traded for an SRT-4 Neon.

Very nice i never experienced electric issues with my RS, but thats cool that you had an srt4 i added mine to my profile to kind of a keep the memory alive the motor blew so bad i needed the whole long block replaced so i moved on. Couple years went by and the DSM bug bit me again LOL.

The electrical issue was engine related. It would randomly run on 3 cylinders, and I could never track down why. I replaced basically everything to do with the ignition and the issue kept coming back. It made it more of a pain in the ass that it would only ever do it like once a month, making it terribly difficult to re-create and diagnose.

I love the look of these cars and always wanted an AWD one. It took me a couple years of searching to find the one I have now, I don't think I'll ever sell it.

Bought back in 2010. 98 Eclipse GSX from the original owner. Barely driven in my ownership and just sits in the garage collecting dust.

My 95er brand new. Thought this was one of the coolest pics back then racing an NSX. Forgot who won but it was really close.

My first was a 95 green esi in 2004 then in 2006 got a 95 red tsi awd, both are kind of around still, the esi is in my little brothers hands, the red awd is sitting in a field for the past 10 years or so, has bent frame. SOO, I went out and bought a 95 RED ESI afew days ago. But it sits in OKC with my inlaws, making plans to take my paid vacation to fly there and drive it back to WA.

Hi all, i guess i slot in with the bought one and done. Got the old gurl in 2006 still have her, its been quite a journey with many irreplaceable memories. Check her out. Thanks
