ATS twin disc clutch

Wishing for a twin disc clutch that can do gentle street starts like this one.
We have twins but not with disc material like this.
This is an ATS carbon twin. This link should take you to where you can see a start from full stop, going from only about 2,000 rpm (can see the tach, barely). Doesn't seem like any chatter, or any drama to it at all, even though Josh says "It's a little grabby".
Torque capacity as far as I know is higher than what we have with heavy spring singles, but hard to compare because the diameter is different.
The other material available for Nissan twin disc is what Nismo calls "Copper Mix". Pictures of the friction material on those discs looks to me very much like what an ACT street organic disc looks like on our clutches.

Anyway, here's the video. Later on he does some maneuvering in a gas station. Again looks perfectly painless. He says the engage point is higher than stock. Good. More disengage. I want that.

They did at one time, but it likely had an ultra light flywheel with it. I ended up buying a clutch from a user on here and made my own flywheel. Was so awesome for street driving, but a little tough to use in a drag setting.
 
Well, here's one I didn't know about.
Spec makes a carbon on carbon twin disc with flywheel for 1g 6-bolt.
It costs about the same as the ATS, about twice as much as the cheaper Spec twins.
The discs drive the hub through sort of a paddle wheel, instead of splines.
Do you have any thoughts about this one?

The Spec clutch was discontinued. You would need to contact Spec directly to see if the clutch or flywheel is still able to be made.

Well that's interesting.
I called Spec directly on Dec 2, at 800-828-4379, picked the phone tree item called "Sales and Tech Support" and talked to a guy there for about 20 minutes.
He said the covers, discs, and floaters are in stock, but the flywheel might not be.
Overall though, he didn't seem to know much about the clutch.

A couple things he did claim to know were not what I wanted to hear.
Like, he said that lighter springs are not available. You get the ones they rate for 1100 ft-lbs and that's it.
And, he said TOB movement required would be the same as a stock clutch. I'm looking for something that can get complete disengage with a little less TOB movement, just because I'm getting tired of jamming the pedal into the carpet and even then not getting real consistent results.

So I kind of decided that even if they do make these, I don't want to buy something that nobody can tell me how it's going to work in my car.
I'm disappointed because that ATS clutch really does seem nice, and I thought maybe the Spec clutch could be similar.
The GTR owner who made that video in post #1 is a neighbor of mine here in Bonney Lake. He also has a 1995 Silvia S14.

Well if the clutch assembly is discontinued, I would bet that the flywheel is not available anymore. The rest are standard components.
I looked up the part number for the clutch through Turn14 distribution and it is discontinued as of Feb 2020.

As for the cover spring, I am surprised that there are no other spring rates available, as there are typically variations in a batch order and every spring should be checked and measured.

As for the disengagement range, you aren't going to change it unless you change the bore diameters of the clutch master and slave, and install a pedal stop and adjust your pedal.
