ITS ALLIIIVEEEE!! I dedicated Saturday to working on this thing, started maybe around 12 and started it around 7. The only issue I had was a slight mishap on the new injectors. The injectors/fuel rail was the last piece of the puzzle to install before the first start up, go to slap them in only to realize they didnt have lower injector seals on them....... Took a trip to Home Depot Racing (LOL) found some 9/32" neoprene grommets that worked out perfect and they didn't even leak! Obviously I have new ones on order but these worked just for first start up. I brought the car yesterday to KSR Performance for some new intercooler piping and as soon as he is done with it it's dyno time! Shooting for Saturday to hit the dyno. It felt great to drive the car into and out of the trailer finally.

That's a wrap! Shoutout to KSR Performance for knocking out my intercooler piping in only 2 days! New injector connectors wired in, waters full, lug nuts torqued the whole dang check list is checked off. Ready for some idle tuning tonight, oil change and then its DYNO TIME TOMORROW!!

Unfortunately the dyno didn't go as planned. We made an initial test hit, no duty on the boost controller, pig rich, no timing we were still getting everything sorted and setup. First pull went to 4500 ish rpm and it made like 370/350 LOL. Checked the straps and we're ready to make a pull to 7000 rpm, same no duty, rich and no timing - it made 458/363 and started throwing a mist of oil everywhere and spraying onto the manifold which was smoking. Shut it down and we were chasing this dang oil leak for an eternity. It ended up being a cam seal puked out and was dripping onto the cam gear which was throwing it everywhere. Completely my fault for not putting new seals in, they were just old. By the time I got the new cam seals installed it was just too late to continue....THIS Saturday will be the day for POWAA. The video is on my facebook: Mike Wagner

We made some POWAA! best of 771/613 on Buschurs mustang dyno. Not the numbers I was expecting but it still made some jam. We started off at wastegate pressure made a few pulls to figure out timing, turned the boost up to 35 then finished at 48 psi. The triggered fuel pump some how got reset on the settings to turn off at 7500 rpm. So we're making a pull at 48 psi then at 7500 rpm fuel pressure plummeted, air fuel spiked lean and I think I sh!t my pants but all is good. This was the pull it made 771 on which you can see the power fall off when it leaned out. I think its safe to say we tested out that new head gasket and its definitely working! Fixed the fuel pump issue and went to send it for one more and totally exploded the coupler off the turbo at about 6900 rpm. I kind of had a feeling this would happen so currently the master himself Mike at buschur is making a new IC pipe off the turbo to replace the coupler.
After the dyno we brought the car into the shop to weigh it(without me in it). My guess was 2650, Mikes was 2750 and Brandons was 2700 and boy oh boy were we wrong! I had no idea it would be this light. being that the last time I weighed it it was 2800 without me in it.

Intercooler pipe V2 completed. Now there is a 90* welded to the turbo with a straight coupler...now were ready for all of it! Going to Dragway 42 tomorrow evening for a couple test passes, probably not even a full pass but we will see!

Slowmotion Track day was awesome at Dragway 42 yesterday. I entered into the Street Fighter Import vs Domestic which only rule was a 28" tire max, no power adder limits. First pass off the trailer 9.8 at 149 with 4* of timing taken out and only about 43 psi with a crappy 1.66 60' - this was a test pass. First qualifier I get locked out of second gear big time - 11.1 at 150. Second qualifier. same thing but I got out of it and coasted down the track. So obviously I qualified terribly LOL this meant was up against some fast cars that qualified good. I think the fastest car in my class was a high 7 second car so either way I didn't stand a chance especially with a transmission that's not working right! Needless to say I got eliminated first round against a high 8 second car. We added the timing back in it and turned the boost back up to 52 psi. This pass was my best 60' to date. I went 1.48 to the 60' then made sure it went into second gear, looking at the log it took 1.83 seconds to get back into the throttle between the 1-2 shift. By now the other guy was so far out but I was starting to back half him good there just wasn't enough time this pass was a 10.1 at 155. I picked up 44mph in the back half on this pass! All around a great day, 4 passes, nothing broke and I drove the car back into the trailer. Couple things to iron out but we're just about ready for MCR in 2 weeks!

We were waiting for the announcement to see if our friend had won best Mitsubishi in the car show and apparently there were no Dodges in the car show so I stepped up to the plate and got myself a trophy for my truck that wasn't even in the show hahah. They said does anyone here own a dodge and want a trophy? LOL

That’s an awesome day man for your first track outing:hellyeah: Do you think the 2nd gear lockout is maybe just a needed clutch adjustment? I know one of the biggest selling points of a twin is fast high rpm shifts, but I remember reading the jacks trans clutch right up and they stated even a twin can still drag causing lock out, anyways tho the car is RIPPING! Hope you get her all sorted out and can’t wait to see you snappin necks and cashin checks:rocks:

I went ahead and got a comp triple clutch should be here in a few days, going to swap that out this weekend and then well be ready for Marion after we break it in on the dyno LOL.

Watching your progress makes me want to risk it more for the biscuit on my stock trans LOL. Currently logging 60ish lb/min on stock un rebuilt 100k+ miles trans.

What an awesome weekend at Marion County Raceway! So Friday evening I took the car out to make the first pull on the new clutch before loading it into the trailer and wa bam...shredded 3rd gear LOL. I figured I was out for the weekend until Mike at Buschur saved the freaking day! He immediately texted me and said those 4 special words: come grab the dogbox. Meanwhile Chance, Donnie and Alex were at my house from New York and Indiana so we drove out to Mikes house to grab the trans. By the time we finished it was 2:00 am but so worth it! Couple hours of sleep later we were up and at it at 7:00 getting loaded up and ready to roll! First pass off the trailer made no boost at all...I dont know if it was the beer or the fact it was a late night but we definitely forgot to tighten a t bolt clamp haha! All weekend was a battle of launching, it would either bog or do a 4 wheel smoke rolling burnout so it took some time to get the launch figured out somewhat..never really even got a good 60' all weekend - 1.53-1.59 all weekend.
first full pass 9.67 at 161! .05 off from a PB. Next pass 9.53 at 162 BOOM PB! We turned it up to about 57 psi and went 9.37 at 166! This would be the final pass of the night. The next day was eliminations and in the pro class was just me and Justin Del Col's black low 9 second evo. The finals race went something like this: I launched and broke a rear axle so I pulled over to make sure nothing was leaking, he launched and the car shut down on him he managed to get it started back up and won the race haha! So after that we agreed to re run them again for fun. Got the axle replaced and lined back up with Justin, I had a .1 second better reaction time and finished .1 seconds before him. It was door to door the entire track was such an awesome race. This was a new PB for both of us I went 9.14 at 162 and Justin went 9.10 at 160. Unfortunately all day we were driving into a 20 mph head wind so it slowed every one down. We turned it up to 60 psi and went the best of the weekend 9.10 at 163!!! So stinkin close! Another goal of mine was to get a 5 second 1/8 mile and that was also painfully close, best of 6.07 at 126!
Sorry for the long post enjoy some pics, videos coming shortly

So to explain the tape, my lack of headlight in the driver side was lifting the hood and bending the upper core support. It bent about 1/2"!! So we decided to be safe than sorry and voila haha. The nirtous was for Ryans white auto 2g which wasn't Cooperating right so we used it as a pre run intercooler sprayer LOL
