Looking at repairing or replacing the two front cv shafts. Both have one ripped boot. Was thinking of just buying re-manufactured ones but finding 91 Auto AWD with Abs seems elusive. They don't grind so I might repair the boots instead. Any suggestions? thanks

The axles are good, the car only has 90k original miles and is completely original. It gets driven maybe 2k a year. I may just order the boots and replace all 4 while I'm on.

I found someone who has the correct awd auto axles but I would need to transfer the abs cogs...anyone ever done it.

thanks

My understanding are they are getting hard to find.

If the axles aren’t bad repairing them should be fine.

How long were the boots ripped? Was there grease inside still?
