I need to relocate my hazard button. I am using a gauge pod that goes in the vents. I deleted all the rear wiper stuff so I only need to worry about the hazards.

What wires could I tap into to put the hazards on a on off switch?

here
look under hazard switch, its pretty messy to hook up a toggle switch, but your best bet, take switch out and mount somewhere else
attached is 2g dsm hazard button, and blinker box, and turn signal switch, there all laced together

I was thinking about mounting it elsewhere. But I want it to look stock like it is meant to be there. Im surprised there isnt a wire that just triggers a on or off signal from the switch. I think after looking at the diagram i would need a 4 or 6 pin switch. What did you do with yours? your car looks pretty gutted.

Can’t you extend the wires and just relocate the switch? And just swap to a momentary switch since the oe is an odd shape. Maybe even use a 1g hazard switch since it’s round.

Is the 1g the same pinout as a 2g or at least really similar? That might be the best option since its round.

I would delete the thing if it wasn't needed for inspection.
