It's a very long time.

The project took a new phase in December last year.

The restoration has began and it's very pleasant to see the results.

Nice work! You are starting right.

Are the interior seats and doors panels something you had custom made, or did the car come this way?

Adding more photos here to apreciate.

Holy crap man! I can't express enough how perfect this color choice is for your car! I've seen a lot of custom colors on DSMs that I think never truly for the car in an OE style but yours is PERFECT. Looks like a color the car was meant to be released in! Like a special edition or something. Seriously, I'm jealous!

I dig the color. I'm thinking a midnight blue for my talon, the one they used for the r32 if I'm not mistaken.

The colors from this car are just awesome. I think it's a good choice.

Haha, thanks man! I think it's a perfect color too, it's even better at the sun, I'll try to pick some pics.

Parabéns cara! Essa cor é linda

Muito obrigado, eu realmente gostei bastante dela. Muito linda. Como ela é perolizado, no sol muda bastante, vou tentar tirar umas fotos no futuro.

The seats are original but I think they were reupholstered. Looking great!

Yeah, they look like. It's something in my list to check. I didn't get there yet... There's too much to do yet. Thanks!

Just a little update here.

The car is now with Cesar, the guy who is going to work on engine, suspension, etc.

There's the last picture.

Those gray inserts on the door are not oem. The shape yes, probably the plastic inside, but not the cover. Looks good though. Kinda wish they did come that way.

Yes, you're right. They don't look OEM. Probably it was custom made when the car had the seats reupholstered. I can't tell since I don't know the historical changes of the car. But yeah, IMHO, I think it looks pretty nice.

Great job so far! Looking really good!

Thank you! Enjoy the topic, hehe.

----

I forgot to mention that the car had its headliner remanufactured, it was dirty, ugly, deteriorating. I tried to find the best in town. I lost the pictures but I'll post new ones when I get the car back.

I repainted the wheels too, it shows in the last picture on my last comment. The wheels are from a 3g Eclipse that crashed and they sold all the good parts.

Cesar has already the piston heads and hoses ready for it. He's working on a lot of cars, so it will take time to get ready.

I also purchased the complete bushing kit from energy suspension. And I also send to Cesar the parts that I already bought. It is a clutch kit from exedy, master/slave cylinder clutch also exedy, the complete engine overhaul gasket OEM kit and the gates complete timing belt kit with OEM tensioner.

(Yes, I replaced the door handles too)
