Only messed with a few settings with the 100.1 Shift box / TCU.
Before I send an email I figured I’d post a thread up maybe see if I can get some guidance here instead.
I have a ‘95 TSI FWD, EVO 16G setup, trans cooler with fan, stock trans, 100.1 shift box and either the GEAR or PRND smart module from ForcedFour.
When activated and in sport mode my trans temps just keep climbing. After thorough warm up I can drive at ~165-175*F. Fan on for cooler, Flip the switch for shift box and sport mode... just CRUISING it’ll push temps somewhere north of 200-210*F before I just shut it off. Again, with the f***ing fan on.
I think there was a setting for lockup, pretty sure I had that on. Would that cause this?
I didn’t mess with any of the maps yet (although I need to cause they are NOT what I want at all. Lol.) I’ve calibrated TPS, and just kinda put in what I thought was basic stuff. Hardly changed much at all.
Curious if anyone else is having or HAD issues like this?
Wouldn’t mind some settings recommendations for the maps.
