Just recently finished up repairing hit and run damage to the front end of my dsm. Will be getting the rear panels done this January and while that's down, hopefully complete a head with 264/272 combo and valve springs to swap in when's she's back from the body shop.

Also just saw a random 1g gsx start showing up in the Carmichael area...he even drove by me in a parking lot and ddnt even bat an eye...almost made me cry...

Anyway here's the front end redone.

Oil fill bolt for my transmission backed out on me while driving home from a New Years party...locked up my transmission. About to drop it and throw in my spare one as soon as axles seals come in. Fun stuff.

I picked up a 97 GST a few weeks ago. Bone stock under the hood but has some nice mods to it. Hoping to start tossing in a few of my old DSM parts and have some fun. It's my first FWD Mitsubishi.

I also have a Ralliart Sportback as my main car.

I guess there isn't any meetups. I hitup the Folsom Cars'n'coffee a while back and was kinda fun (in the Sportback).

Been sitting on a couple few AWDs for years while life took over. I'm gonna be pulling motors and start rebuilding, but it probably won't happen until the beginning of the year. Could certainly use any help and expertise that's around... would also be awesome if someone had a shop with space to work (as you can see in my profile pic, my garage is PACKED) but I've done rebuilds in smaller garages *shrugs*

AT least you don't live in the UK. I saw one of Bobby's old pics (@ec17pse) and there wasn't enough room to open the door. Just trying to give you a look on the bright side :D

It doesn't help to have more space. I have three car garage, which just means I have 3 DSMs.

I think this hobby is like gold fish, that just grows to take up all the available space. :)

Ha yeah the British let you use a garage but forget a car has doors that open, its the same in parking lots too btw! They really cram you together and expect you to get out with zero damage ! Engineers and desig ers here suck man! Zero thought on most things

I mean, yea, and I guess part of the problem is my fault that I have stuff along the walls of my garage, so I can't open the doors either :D At least this garage theoretically holds 2 cars. ;)

I had another '95 GSX for a very long time (what can I say, I hoard the AWDs, and all of mine were the less common '95s with no sunroof), until my dad made me move them (cause he's got 10 acres, and he REALLY NEEDED the 250 or so square feet that I was taking up) back in March... The other one was my "baby" because it was the first... but all the good parts off of it have made it into the Talon except a handful that I need to pick up still from the guy that bought it.

I don't disagree though, if I had a 3 car garage, then I wouldn't have sold any of them and would be desperately trying to a source a head and a bunch of small extras to have 3 full projects going...

I have a 3 car garage now. It's really easy to just throw stuff in the garage and forget about it then there goes all the space. I'm still trying to free up the other half of the garage LOL but I recently moved up to Fairfield so I'm in the area now and can assist as long as I have free time.
