hey you lot, if you guys are still interested could you email Tony at ACW and get your order in and paid for as I plan to get my window down to him start on DEC! and ideally we would like to confirm how many are actually having a window and paid for it because if no one has it then it shall be just me and no mold made for future windows, So I want to get you guys to jump a head and get your part done for me please if possible so I know whats going on as soon as I get there.

his email address is [email protected] If you mention in the title BOBBY ECLIPSE REAR WINDOW he will know what its about, in this email you can get the precise shipping quote to your address as they will deal with this directly with yourselfs cutting me out and you will also pay them directly also! you can also call if you so wish to do so 01275 546 008

any isues let me know but Im sure it will go smoothly as he is a great guy and very easy company to work with

Please let me know on here or PM once you have done this order and paid because then I can log this myself

Do you have estimated weight of the new windows versus the glass windows? I am sure its lighter, but I am curious!
I dont no and I wont till they are made either im afraid. the general idea is they are normally always close enough to 50% lighter!

my sides are pretty much exactly 50% lighter even with sliders in them

Thanks! That should be a pretty decent little weight savings!

Did you weigh that glass you cut out? If not, will you please? When you have the chance - no pressure! I hate adding things to other people's To-Do lists, so feel free to tell me to "bugger off"!

THANK YOU!
Ya know i did take it in KG at first but then you popped into my head and had to do it in lbs

Hey all!

About 1 hour ago i dropped the rear window off to them. So they will be in touch with those that have emailed already, those who have not emailed ACW if you want to do so now please that would be great.

They said its likely going to be completed after christmas but will look at the job next week.

Any questions either email them or ask me to ask and i can post the response here for all to see.

Thanks all
Bobby

I emailed em over a week ago and was waiting to hear more but they replied
I got told you and a few others did email. Told them about you and your two cars LOL.

When i was there i asked for the 2 color options as samples to show in person. Its tricky to show its real color and detail but this is what i can do in the house against a white ish wall

These are the bronze

Those colors look good. Can’t wait to see the end product.

Bobby,
Do you know if they made a mold for future orders? Want to get one of these when I get the CF hatch ordered.
Thanks,
Nic

The mold will always be there so can order it at any point once the first lot are done, thats why i needed a few to get involved so they would get the mold done.

So you can message them when ever and it will still be available to order

Weight of this poly window is 11Lbs so is exactly half the weight!

So windows being swapped can save arouns 8KG or about 17/18lbs
