For years, RockAuto has been featuring customers’ cars on our Collector Series Magnets, and including one inside the shipping box with most customers’ orders. They are real cars that are still on the road today, thanks to their owners’ loving care and parts purchased on RockAuto.com. We regularly issue batches of new magnets in limited quantities so more customers get a chance to have their cars in the magnet limelight. We hope all customers have fun receiving the magnets with their orders and expanding their magnet collection (share a picture of your collection below)! At the request of customers seeking additional magnets, we also offer a pack of five random RockAuto Collector Magnets, available for purchase here.

If you purchase parts from RockAuto.com, we would like to give you the opportunity to have your car or truck possibly featured on a RockAuto Collector Magnet! New, old, import, domestic, daily driver, trailer queen, classic, antique, we want to see them all! Please email [email protected] with your favorite high resolution images (tips for taking pictures of your car) and what parts from RockAuto you have used. Unfortunately, we cannot feature every vehicle submitted on a magnet. If your vehicle is chosen, we will make sure to send you plenty of magnets to share with friends and family, and make you the envy of your car club.

I submitted my 1967 Red Chevrolet Camaro to you last year, for consideration, by the way.

Did you grab some of the FelPro headgaskets that were on sale like I did???
You should have a magnet.....and if it is a RED 1967 RS CHEVROLET CAMARO....I'll buy it from ya, ROFL
In fact, here is THE EXACT PHOTO....probably has too much going on in it but this is the photo I sent a year ago in April.

That only came on Rally Sport models, highly sought after in the states. Only year they were electric, the next 2 years they were vacuum operated and then they were discontinued, so I am glad I have it and feel very lucky I found it 20 years ago, dead, on a dead end street, 3 flat tires, covered in tree sap, drivers door wouldn't open, every bulb in the dash burned out and no current tag. I paid $2300 for it and didn't know anything about it. I worked with a new young man from the town it was sitting in so I asked him if he MIGHT be able to find out who owned it so I could approach them about purchasing it, as it kind of matched my 1987 IROC Convertible as it is a 20th Anniversary car (1967/1987). That kid thought I was joking with him and punched me in the arm and told me to quit messin with him. I explained it again and got the same smack in the arm. Puzzled, I said "WTF?".
It was at that point that that he said "How the hell did you find out where I live?"
WOW, I knew at that point that it was fate again with the car thing, and it must have meant to be.
We worked out me giving him 2k, and paying the rest off the next month, without knowing if it even ran.
Low and behold, she fired up. I put her on the trailer and got her home. Drove her for at least 5 years in that crappy condition until my best friend and body man said "Hey, why don't we restore her?"
I said "Why not?" Eight months later, of working everyday after work on it, it was finished inside and out but we left the motor, trans and rear dif all alone. They have NEVER been apart. I put valve cover gaskets on it and a normal tune up and FACTORY A/C refreshed. I love driving that thing, it makes people come up and ask or talk about it every time I go out!
Got divorced 6 years ago, and in the paperwork, I couldn't own it for 5 years. It didn't say I couldn't take care of it or drive it, I just couldn't own it. That is over now and she is home and safe!
There is the story of the week.......... :thumb:

A true critique would be that:
- there should be no shadows on the car
- car should be in the center of the image
- wheel should be slightly turned so it can be seen head on from the camera

But hey, who am I to say that? :p

Oh hell I'm no photographer, it just happened to be where it was as I was handing out cards for the cruise nite poker run. Looked good enuf for me so I moved my chair out of the picture, LOL.
Looking at all my magnets, seeing how they did theirs...:p
But at least they replied!

I'm getting there... After almost 2 years I'm happy for the car to be where it is.
Oh boy, these are some nice shots I'm taking!
Don't leave us hanging......post em up!!!! :thumb:

They will send you a supply of magnets for you to give out, if they put it on a magnet. :)
Has Flamur replied to your submission?

Keep your fingers crossed and good luck! :thumb: :)
