Sorry for the delayed response. After stalling, mostly on the freeway, it starts then dies immediately as if it's out of gas. It will however keep starting & dying. After it sits a while it will start & run ok again. Could it be the crank sensor giving a faulty temp reading? Also, what makes you think it's a fuel problem? Why not spark?
The crank sensor does not read the temperature, it reads the position of the crankshaft and sends that data to the ecu so the engine will run properly. I doubt it's the CAS, because sitting for a while would not have an effect on it.Sorry for the delayed response. I noticed the cable coming from the negative battery terminal to the firewall was frayed and had a 180 degree bend. I replaced that and it hasn't given me any problems since. A simple $7 solution. Does it ever run hot? Or does your temp gauge even work?
