Since our first (non bolt-on) turbo swap, we've been salvaging OEM Holset drain lines to make a true 3/4" drain line. And while AN fittings and lines work, we’ve always preferred a simple clamped hose with fittings that are much closer to an actual 3/4″ ID than a comparable AN fitting. Not being able to find many options out there, we sent some flange files to be cut and made a mini bead roller in order to make our own.

The turbo fitting has been slightly angled towards the pan fitting, giving it a more direct route while also allowing it to better clear the 1g front motor mount bracket for most standard placement/bottom mount turbo combinations- especially for turbos with longer center section lengths such as Borg Warner, Holset, and PTE.

The DSM oil pan can be enlarged (off the car) to 3/4″ and it is recommended to do so in order to get the full benefit of the larger drain, along with the gasket itself. We haven't yet found a way to get the correct size gaskets in bulk for it to make sense price wise, so gaskets are not included.
It does include all stainless hardware and clamps, and some really slick self sealing allen bolts for the pan with a built in o-ring under the head.

Price is $99 shipped to the continental US, and can be found here:

-3/4″ stainless turbo drain fitting, angled away from compressor cover and towards the oil pan fitting
-3/4″ stainless fitting that bolts to the factory DSM oil pan, angled up for better drainage

-Two stainless oil pan bolts with self sealing o-rings under the bolt heads
-Two stainless turbo bolts
-Stainless hose clamps
* Does not include gaskets

@1990TSIAWDTALON was nice enough to test and review the basic pieces before we made a kit:

We hope this makes things go as smoothly for you as it did for us!

Cheers,

Matt and Samantha

This is, by far, the best drain setup I have found. The price is incredible low for the quality and fitment of this fine product by @MorrisonFab and shows the dedication to the hobby we all have.
Thank you Matt and Sam for this quality piece!

We were actually doing what Matt and Sam were doing, cutting up drain tubes and putting hose with clamps on them after fking with that dam -12AN drain, its only about 4" long and no give with AN fittings.
Hell, I even cut up a AN fitting to use hose on, instead of braided line since it is only a drain.
Their kit addresses all of the issues I have ran into and will by another from them when the GSX goes to a Holset!

Thank you for the kind words, Marty! And a huge thank you for the write-up after trying them out :)

This will fit my hx40, I got one made already but wow nice setup.

Thank you!

I just installed a -10an and what a pita that was. No give with the ss line and it has to be cut to the exact length. This is the way to go.

There is still maybe only a 1/2" window max between being too long or too short, but much easier to work with and cut :)

Just speaking the truth Matt, it was a pleasure to give my opinion!
