I have a 1995 Gsx nearly stock I was just cleaning out the throttle body and I put it back on bolted everything back up. Put the throttle cable back on bolted it down and started it up and it has no throttle response, As soon as I start it, the tachometer drops all the way down like 100rpms and really struggles to stay running for 3-5 seconds. I checked and I have fuel, air and spark and I just replaced the coil pack and checked all the plugs to be safe and it's still doing the same thing. I just press the pedal and it is opening the valve inside the throttle body so I know the cable is physically fine itself. The only thing I can think of is that its a bad TPS sensor or MAF sensor. And I just boost leak tested it and there were no leaks and 20psi for 30 sec, and all the intercooler piping is fine. Map sensor is also broke but it ran just fine without it plugged in and now it won't run longer than 3-5 seconds

Thats what I thought but I put everything back just how it was and I just cleaned the throttle body with some valvoline carb and throttle body cleaner and I'm wondering if I sprayed to much and it made one of my sensors go bad and like I said my map sensor was already bad but It idled just fine without it so why all of the sudden would it be causing it not to run and affecting the throttle

if it stays on with out it plugged in and shuts off when you plug it in i would say the maf is done...

If you just took the inlet pipe off and cleaned the throttle body on car.....

Depress the gas pedal to the floor and crank the engine.
That will enable clear flood mode.

Once the car starts and revs let off quickly.

It runs without MAP sensor
Not exactly sure on your build but I'm guessing you have a stock MDP sensor (not MAP). FYI this sensor is only used for egr garbage.
I have bad idle problems right now as well so I'm going to help you rule out a few things.

1. Is your MDP still connected on top of your manifold? Doesn't matter if it's working, just that it's on there and not creating a vacuum leak.
2. Check the resistance of your ISC, just in-case.
With the key in the "ON" position, and the plug out of the ISC: Measure resistance via ammeter between pins 1-2, 2-3, 4-5 and 5-6, and they should be ~29-31 ohms.
3. Scribe where your TPS currently is, try moving it, see if it makes a difference. If it doesn't, it's probably fooked.

Try each step independently and test, so that you know exactly what to replace. Given that you didn't touch your MAF at all, I doubt it's a MAF problem, but anything is possible. I'm putting my bet on TPS.

Update:I deleted the bottom half of TB and EGR and it ran great before with no idle surge so that can’t be it and The gas pedal still has no pressure at all and I thought the transistor was the issue cause it was misfiring so that made sense cause it didn’t idle smoothly and I replaced it so now it doesn’t misfire but it still won’t stay running and I think I blew a fuse or the ecu when I tried charging the battery cause I just now realized the alligator clips were reversed on the charger....I hope I didn’t fry my ecu , please helppp

Yes it’s connected and I can turn the tb while it’s struggling to idle and it does nothing at all except die eventually and I did , the BISS screw was fine before it started acting up

At this point I have no idea but I'd recommend taking the ECU out to take a look at it. If you open the throttle body, letting air in, and nothing happens, I'm guessing your car probably isn't adding any fuel.
Honestly could be anything but checking your ecu is pretty easy.

okay what should I be looking for mainly ? And it can’t just be the tps sensor could it ?

How to check your TPS:
https://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/how-to-test-a-2g-tps.433473/
Maybe it could just be your TPS not giving any signal at all. Given that you had the issue before you think you fried your ecu, it could totally be the case. I didn't understand the chronology of your thread at first, but just check the sensors in the TB first and see if they are working.
Based on your messing up with the battery still check the ECU, it could cause other problems down the road. Just take it out and look: https://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/how-to-tell-if-ecu-is-bad.167545/

So I replaced the ecu , started it up and it sounds terrible I'll put a link to the video below but I’m completely out of ideas other than replacing the tps sensor ,

after that video I can’t get it to start and I hear clicking coming from under the dash I have a video of that too

, I’ve never had anything this difficult to diagnose, any help is appreciated

[RESOLVED] The ecu was the problem I swapped out the blackbox for now and put a 97 ecu in it so I don't have my tune anymore but after a new ecu, coil pack, and spark plugs it starts right up and idles like stock. Now I'm just in search of another blackbox so I can transfer my tune onto it. Thank you guys for all the help!
