I'll be feeding the turbo from the ofh. The center port towards the front to be exact.

1. Will doing so lower oil pressure through out the system?

2. Since it's post filter, do I still need an inline filter?

The filtered oil won't need another filter unless you just feel like it Tony. One of my cars has a filter in-line and the other doesn't.
Be careful when trying to get those hex plugs out, I had to use heat so the "glue" would soften and let me get mine out. When you go back in with a BSPT fitting, I think that one is the one that is kind of at an angle and doesn't go straight in, so don't cross thread it. It won't lower oil pressure throughout the system but make sure you drain it very well.

Thanks, Marty!! Yes it’s the 90* fitting that goes on the ofh. What do you mean “drain it well”? After installing the fitting on the ofh? I hate these fittings. There’s always shavings to clean up.

Not sure if this is a 1g or 2g drain but the measures 14mm ID. Should I upgrade? Putting on 68hta V2

Does that turbo require a restrictor? If so, then that drain is sufficient. If no restrictor, I would go to at least a 10AN drain, or 12AN (3/4") which is what I run. If you stuff too much oil into the cartridge and it can't get out fast enough, it will slow down the compressor and is bad on it, so make sure you can drain all that it gets fed. I had a kink in my hose one time and it almost stopped the turbo.
@MorrisonFab has a very nice 3/4" drain kit that I am using. PM Matt and see if they have any on hand and the price. I have been going to do a write up on their drain, as it is a very nice setup that works super on my Holset.

If I screw the fitting in all the way, I run into a clearance issue so I backed it out about a 1/4 turn. It shouldn’t leak, correct? Not a big fan of the way the line will be routed but won’t know for sure until I get the downpipe on. Manifold and turbo housing are getting coated so can’t really mock it up. Any suggestions??? I’ve seen the square type fittings. Wondering if that’s a better route.

Personally I'd use a straight fitting with a 90* hose end. I hate those npt/bpt elbow fittings, always end up in the wrong spot.
You should have enough room to do a straight fitting with the line you have as well.

I use this on the end of my fitting. You could choose which works best in your spot. I am using the second one. One goes to the turbo feed the other to a remote oil pressure sending unit. :)

I got my motor started and had installed a CHEAP electric gauge and the dam threaded stud almost broke off of the sender so I soldered it on good, THEN my son pointed out that it was reading 3psi OMG
I took a oil pressure gauge out of one of our Camaro's (it is mechanical) and installed it on the end of the 18" 4an line coming off of that tee I use and ran the tubing inside the car for now to verify oil pressure. 73 lbs cold start, 22 lbs idling hot, so I feel good now and a GOOD gauge is coming, but I will use an electric one again, just a brand name, not a no name one.
 
Yeah I was kinda worried but new my clearances and no low oil light. I didn't start it again until I put that mechanical "test" gauge on. Made me feel very much more at ease. :thumb:
