New turn indicators in place, and all belts have been changed, also new oil and filter.
Next is an alignment and balancing the wheels i think.
I have ordered an new intake and an AEM dry filter, adn some other small bits for the engine, now its just the waiting game. Thought i would try some lightpainting a night soon wheen the weather is right, this is a photo i took
of my old Suzuki swift sport.

You guys get some cool cars over there. That's why I'm shocked turbo dsm didn't make it way there.

Tk106 yes that is very strange, i dont know why Mitsu Sweden did that choice but it would be interesting to know what they based it on.
Tried some lightpainting yesterday, need to practice more, and thats very hard as it hardly gets dark in the nights here this time of year.

My airbox had a crack so yesterday i changed intake to an open air AEM-filter.
I have some aluminium tubing that i might ad later on to improve flow.

Yes! Finally have found a garage to rent, so from 1 september my car has an indoor place to live. Only like 10 min drive from home. This means that i can build things in my own pace and not have to worry about sh*t happening to it.

I have ordered parts to make an front conversion to 2Gb, found a used 2gb bumper in sweden and ordered a set of frontlights from Rockauto. Also someother minor changes on their way or already on the car, i will try to get out and snap some new pics soon.

Europe market went through germany and they did not want turbos because of emissions and back then turbos were the worst idea ever for emissions LOL yet fastforward now everything has a turbo becsuse its better for emission! Yet they never listened in the first place! So thats why most were N/A

Thanks ec17pse, that explains it, still a very strange choice, but now 20 years later its hard to do anything about.
Still love my N/A 4g63 Eclipse anyway, and will continue to build it :D

It is but you know you can never tell governments because they know best! Well they all dumb and just paper pushers with figures and no real engineering brains.

You can cnvert it to turbo easily with a small amount of parts

During this week i have gotten some new additions for the car, 2gb bumper that will be painted, new headligts and mudflaps. I will begin working on the 2gb front conversion during this coming weekend.

New headlights in place, also testfitted the front, almost ready for paint, then i need to freshen up the metall around the cooler, ad a grille net, i will probably go with one of those ez lips and also i need to ad some parking lights in the headlights as that is required in sweden. Led t10s will do the job fine i think.

Hallo! I've the same eclipse , like yours, ( 2G EDM , N/T ..yet.. ), and I have an open air filter too.
Just a tip: Try to put a little lower, fix it well, and give cold air towards to the filter directly.
For example, use a flexible tube..or pipe from the little bottom-side hole of the front bumper .
I think its better than that position like on the picture. (get too much warm air---..from the engine. )

Funny thing about those sprayers at the front is they are ment to be only for cars with projectors as standsrd due to over heating the lense and dirt but no wiper makes it hard to clean but 90% of the time its heat control.

So them being on this car having normal bulbs is interesting. Seems like a euro aftermarket option. Wonder is japan got the same option

sprayers - yes...it seems funny , or interesting, but I understand why are those there. for example , in my country Hungary there are a lot of stupid laws about car keeping. IF you install an aftermarket xenon set ( which is...far not allowed) , you must be sure that the police will catch you... BUT if you wanna be smart..you may prevent it by use this sprayers and your headlight must be height- adjustable . luckily the second thing is a factory solution at the edm headlights.
