Where to run amp power wire through passenger side without drilling any holes? There is rubber cap with wires running through it in firewall but my cable gets stuck after pushing it in an inch or two

Are you pushing from the inside or outside? Pic would be helpful

You run into a ton of difficulties going from the bay. I’d use a metal coat hanger, insert it from the bay and get it as far as you can inside to where you can see it. Then grab the end from the inside and run it that way. Tape the end of the wire to the coat hanger real good and taper it so it’s not one huge chunk. Then pull from the engine bay.

Problem is i cant even see it from the inside

Depending on how much wire you have, you could probably run the wire under the battery box then up through the inner wheel well, under the fender and there should be a hole where the wires for the door have access into the cabin, then you can take of the plastic door seal at the bottom that says Eclipse or whatever model you have most likely and there should be a channel there with enough room to run as many wires as you want to the back of the car. Unless you absolutely want to go through the firewall, that is still a lot of wire to pull through the firewall.

I drilled out a hole to be bigger when I had relocated my battery but Im sure you could just run it like I mentioned. To me it would be a lot less work and you just have to take off your fender, and possibly the front passenger side skirt. If you dont want to do that then how tk106 said would be the best option unless you can find another access point that is easier to get too.

The engine harness.... That has got to be the worst location you could have chosen to run a high current cable.

Using a coat hanger works great for wiring.
I've always used the steering column, it has a rubber grommet, and enough room to get most wires through.

Thanks guys ended up pulling it through firewall. It was stuck very high up the dash so had to cut a little slit in that black floor mat behind blower motor and pulled right through.
