Having a slight issue getting my fitting and adapter to clear the timing cover
Is there a way around actually cutting the cover?
I’d rather not have to go that route
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks!

You will possibly get away with a forged 90 but they are more expensive then the fast flow ones. I have seen some do this and it just touches the upper cover a tad, on my aftermarket rail i had to opt for a banjo type fitting as it was longer and a forged fitting would not work well

Interesting. I have the fuelab regulator kit, and while it's a tight fit, it clears with a few mm. Was your return line/fitting from a kit? Is the engine a 6 or 7 bolt, and what timing cover bits are being used? Bad pic for reference, if you'd like a better view I can take one.

You can always get a low-pro 90* fitting, but it will cost a bit more than the full-flow ones.

The 91-94 1g rail is a few mm shorter then the 2g rail. Besides the slightly shorter length, the outlet of a 1g rail will need a different adapter while the 2g is the same on both sides.Actually the 90 rail is the shortest of all but won’t work with the 91-99 TPS due to the flange angle. I run a 91-94 rail so I can run a timing cover on my 2g without the 90° rubbing.

I'm using a 90 degree fitting like this and it just touches the timing cover.
Do you have a pic of that installed?
Thanks btw it’s exactly what I was hoping to find out would work but still can’t find one anywhere
