Nice work! Congrats.

When are you hitting full boost? It looks like it's hitting hard right after 4k.

What size turbine housing?

It is hitting full boost about 4600. Retarding the intake cam to "cam card spec" lost me about 500 rpm of spool but picked up a boat load of power up top so it was worth it. This is on the FP30 exhuast housing.

Excellent progress. Car is looking really good. What tablet are you using in the car and what is your wheel size/offset? And tire size?

I'm trying to squeeze 315s on, but I think I might have to settle for 285 or 295 due to SCCA SP ruleset. ugh.

18x10 +15 with 285/30/18's. It needed a little bit of clearancing on the knuckles to not rub but only a small amount. If the offset was +10 it would have fit perfect. That being said I am running 30mm spacers on the back and no spacers on the front....but not required.

You don’t mind have a wider track width in the rear vs the front?

Here is the dyno graph! 20psi first pull of the day vs 26psi on a 15lb wastegate spring and 31 psi on 20lb gate spring. 14 degrees of timing and 11.2-3 afrs gas scale on E80.

WELL!!!! I got the ROBI SPEC valved KW Variant 3's that were on Andrew Brilliants car at WTAC!!! Philip from Curiosichi got them when he bought the AMB Aero Eclipse and I snagged them off him. They are beautiful and i cannot wait to try them considering im coming from Koni Yellows with garbage top hats that are 10 years + old. Best part is they have zero miles on them since a rebuild by ROBI SPEC. Here is a video of the install! Thanks for checking it out!

What are you doing with the old coilovers? Sell em to me for cheap?

Install looks great! I can't wait to see how much quicker your car goes with decent suspension!

Got the car on the scales today. It is heavier than i would hope but that will happen when you build things out of anything but carbon fibre. hahh! I do have the stock passenger seat it the car at the moment so that doesnt help at all but i want to take some people for a ride when i go testing. Check out the video!

Learned a lot at area 27...about me and the car. I need more practice. The grip is mental and its going to take a dad like me a bit of time to work up to pushing this car to the limit. But im getting better and the car is feeling better...except for an issue at the end. More to come on that!

Coles notes of this year knox mountain hill climb....

Car worked great all day saturday but it was cool out and the track was cold and dusty so i took it easy and put in a best of 1:59. last run of the day i forgot to fuel the car and ran out of fuel half way up the hill...IDIOT.

Day 2 the car felt good in the morning and then the 2nd run it decided to spit out the water pump gasket....rediculous. Fixed that and then the GM maf started to read super erratic so it broke up the whole way up the hill. Kevin jewer gave me a bit of a hand diagnosing that in between runs and i deleted the maf and faked the maf with a random tune i made up on the spot. Just sent it for the last run of the day. 28psi, 12 degrees timing, 11.5 to 12:1 afr and the car ran pretty damn good aside from a couple bogs in 3rd. Long story short I went for it on the last run and won the class by .365 with a 1:55.505 which is about 2.3 seconds faster than my previous best. I also got the 3rd highest trap speed into turn 1 with a 172kmh.

Enjoy;

Added a radiator sprayer to the car. There have been some people run setups like this at piles peak and I’m hoping I can “super” cool the car while out on the track lapping. Would be nice to setup for a hot lap. Will be at the track Friday to test it out.

Hopefully it works! If not I’m out a couple hours and 30 bucks. Haha.

Went back to Area 27 yesterday. Car worked pretty well. Still struggling with the maf sensor. Ugh. I should have just kept 2g maf. Never had an issue with it. Lol. SD will be the next move.

I also broke the car... LOL. Damnit.

So I tore down the suspension and checked out the failure. I’m not surprised...I was never happy with that aftermarket arm. Then I laser scanned the stock stuff so we have a baseline and I’m going to put it back in and work on a new set of lower arms of my own design. Anyone be interested in 7075 billet aluminum lower arms...I might do a batch run if I can get enough interest......
